Things to do this weekend....

Adopt a dog!

Pedigree is running an adoption drive and have a really cool interactive website up where you can find your "doggelganger". The "canine pairing software" is a lot of fun and the kids will get a kick out of finding their doggy double, even if you don't have room for an extra four legged family member right now.
Check out our adorable doggelgangers on our twitter page (Just click on the live twitter feed to the right).

Auckland Museum is hosting a pretty amazing looking exhibition called Aqua. It has been created by ONE DROP in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil so I imagine it should be a pretty magical (and educational!) experience.

Mary's Market is on this weekend. The Freeman's Bay market specializes seconds, samples and end of lines in babywear and kid's clothes but there are also book stalls and toys.

Walking With Dinosaurs is wrapping up this weekend so if you can still get/afford tickets and have a dinosaur mad kid then get along to that.

The Saturday Herald usually has a listing of all the markets happening in Auckland for the weekend so check that out and go exploring. Haeata loves looking at all the crazy toys on offer, hunting for second hand clothes and lining up for hot churros dripping in gooey chocolate sauce.

And don't forget, Prestige Dance Crew is performing for free at The Aotea Centre tomorrow. Performance at 11am, workshop at 12. I told Haeata we're going to a dance class tomorrow and she lost her little mind.
