The amazing Prestige Dance Crew is performing for free at the Aotea Centre this Saturday at 11am. The show is part of the Pick & Mix season put on by The Edge (as in the Aotea Centre, not the cheesy radio station). Check out the link as there will be more great performances coming up over the month and they are all FREE. We went to see the Blingling Bros (self proclaimed first Maori circus act) last Saturday and ukelele band, The Nukes a few weeks ago.
As with every Pick & Mix performance, Prestige will follow up their performance with a workshop from 12 - 12:45. Great opportunity if you have any tiny dancers at home. Not of the variety Tina Turner described (Preschool pole dancing lessons anyone? No, I'm not kidding. I wish I was). Also perfect if you yourself are a closet B-Boy or B-Girl and want to learn some new moves.
