The week is almost over and most of the activities are already done with but you can still get in and celebrate Te Reo with your tamariki.
This album from Joe "Hopepa" Lindsay of Fat Freddy's Drop and a bunch of other talented musicians is so much fun! Both Haeata and I have been loving grooving to the old-school ska sound. All the songs are classics like E Papa Waiari, Tutira Mai and even A,E,I,O,U. If you don't recognise those names check out this link which has clips of the tunes. You'll be transported back to primary school right away!
The tracks don't have any vocals but all the lyrics are included in the sleeves along with English translations...perfect for learning some new kupu (words)!
