Matariki Market Day

This Sunday the Auckland Museum is holding a Matariki Market Day from 10am - 5pm.


As well as contemporary Maori art for sale, there will also be raranga (weaving) and whakairo (carving) demonstrations, live traditional and contemporary music, taonga puoro (traditional instruments), traditional Maori healing practitioners AND a papa takaro (playground) set up where market goers can play traditional games!
