Fundraiser at Te Karanga Gallery today!

Go check this out today fam.  The 1 Million People Project is holding a fundraiser at Tea Culture, which is part of Te Karanga Gallery on K Rd. These people are trying to raise $1 each from 1 million people to buy some land that they can build a self sustainable community on. Part of it will be a interactive, ecological, educational visitor centre. The website mentions tree-houses, secret tunnels and wind turbines. Sounds like something we can all get behind! And in this current political climate it's quite cool to see a group of people trying to buy back some of that land and do something really beautiful with it. 

Oh and they're doing a poi workshop!
