Billabong City Squared Skateboarding Invitational

I'm seriously trying to get Haeata more interested in skating and slowly moving away from the scooter. I'm sorry man, I just see these primary school kids racing around on scooters and can't help thinking you're not a 4 year old, get a skateboard! For no other reason than a skateboard is infinitely cooler - I'm shallow like that. And you can do cooler tricks! 


If you're feeling me on this vibe then take your kids along to the Billabong rail jam event at Aotea Square this Saturday. There will be 40 of New Zealand's top skateboarders there so it should be an amazing thing to watch, even if you're not into that whole culture.
