Every Tuesday and Friday at 1oam the Bruce Mason Theatre in Takapuna put on a 40 minute storytime with actors dressed up as different characters reading to the kids. Under 1s are free and all other kids are only $5. It's right next to the cafe so you can walk up, get a coffee and chill while someone else entertains your adorable little monsters for a minute.
Haeata and I have been a couple of times and it was definitely worth the $5.
