This Sunday the Auckland Zoo is hosting the launch of "Tarantula Boo!" by children's author Lucy Davey ("The Fidgety Itch"). The party, starting at 11:30, is happening in the zoo entrance area so it's totally free. There'll be a show, signings and reading. Of course, once you've gone to the effort of finding parking you're probably going to want to go ahead and pay to go into the zoo anyway. Hopefully it's a nice day!
