This amazing new event was created in part because a lot of the Base FM DJs have kids now but still want to hang out with their friends, listen to good music, get their dance on and have family time all at once (who says you can't?!). And really, what could be wrong about getting out of the city on a Sunday afternoon and going somewhere that feels like a holiday.
Outer Base happens the first Sunday of every month (that's this weekend people!) at the wonderful Leigh Sawmill Cafe, features some really great DJs and is all for free. Fun for the kids, fun for Mum and Dad, fun for your whole crew...ticking all the boxes right? Definitely my pick for the weekend.
